Match the item before judging it
Check that photos show the item, colour, size and variation you ordered. A clear photo of the wrong option is not useful evidence. Keep the listing reference beside the warehouse photos.
Ask for useful angles
For shoes: both sides, heel, sole, toe and insole measurement. For clothing: front, back, label, seams and flat-lay measurements. For bags: base, lining, closures and strap attachments.
Check measurements carefully
Ask what is being measured and in which unit. A flat-lay chest width is different from a circumference. A shoe’s outsole length is different from its insole length.
Separate visible facts from unknowns
Photos can reveal stains, damage, uneven stitching and mismatched details. They do not establish authenticity, material composition, long-term durability or hidden mechanical performance.
Resolve gaps before shipping
If a critical detail is missing, ask for it while the item is still in the warehouse. Check current return deadlines and charges with the seller and agent rather than assuming a spreadsheet’s policy summary is current.
Questions to resolve before shipping
Are spreadsheet pictures warehouse QC photos?
The photos in this catalogue are source listing references. Warehouse QC should document the particular item and option being handled for your order. Match the selected size, colour and version first, then compare relevant angles with your listing reference. A clear catalogue image cannot replace evidence of the item in the warehouse.
How do I ask for a useful measurement photo?
Name the measurement, unit, start and end points, and whether the garment should be fastened, flat, relaxed or stretched. Ask for both ruler ends to be visible. For shoes, specify foot, insole or outsole rather than asking only for “length”. Use the hoodie measurement diagram or shoe measurement example to identify the method.
What should I do when an important QC detail is missing?
Write down the exact unresolved detail: for example, the wrong size label, an unreadable ruler or a missing view of a damaged area. Request that evidence and check the agent’s current holding and return conditions before approving shipment. A missing photo is an unknown, not proof of a defect. Keep the response with your fit and QC notes.
Use the checklist on your own finds
Start with the sneaker sizing and QC checklist, compare hoodie measurements and oversized fit, or choose from all category guides. Keep your actual links and evidence in the comparison tool.
For current agent policies and tools, use the official OSSBuy website and its help centre. This guide does not operate the agent service.
